Swiss Re speaks to Senate on climate change

On Thursday, April 19th, Andrew Castaldi, Swiss Re Sr V.P & Head of Catastrophe Perils, Americas, gave testimony on the “Impact of Global Warming on Private and Federal Insurance” before The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs as per the request of Senator Lieberman.

Others on the panel for this testimony included John B. Stephenson, Director, Natural Resources and Environment U.S. Government Accountability Office; Eldon Gould, Administrator, Risk Management Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture; and Michael K. Buckley, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Mitigation, Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
